About Jason

Jason started a business around 9 years ago called Coe Design. Initially it was a sign and graphic design business but very quickly evolved into a more dedicated print shop, producing large format print, digital and offset print. Utilising Jasons marketing experience focussing on developing complete brand packages, campaigns and promotions for clients added a whole new level of value to the printed products. In June 2007 Jason started another print business Printed Greener, a business which Jason was very proud of not only because of the environmentally friendly ethics behind it but also because of the experience that Jason was this time able to draw on to start a much more marketable brand. This business grew rapidly and was sold to a larger print company. A little depressed by the “loss of his baby” (printed Greener we mean) Jason with chin up decided to breathe new life into his original business Coe Design which was still growing itself. A total rebrand as XL Grafix and an inevitable restructure it has sparked a new challenge within Jason to develop a business beyond its competitors.

Jason has learnt the hard way that a graphic designer needs to be more than just someone who creates pretty pictures. The more success a client has from running a campaign or promotion the more likely it is they will see value in the service and become a repeat customer.

Owning his own business has meant Jason has been responsible for all the marketing of the business and it was a learning curve in itself with a lot of trial and error to find what works and what doesn’t. There are unfortunately no straight up and fool proof tactics that will give you instant results but this blog has been created to give his clients and fellow business owners a place where they can draw on Jason’s experience and maybe fast track their marketing efforts.

Jason will be posting as frequently as he can so check back often, you never know there may be something that you can use to your advantage.
